Woodley and Lawler first clashed back in 2016 where ‘Chosen One’ knocked out ‘Ruthless’ in the first round at UFC 201.
Lawler is coming off a controversial stoppage loss earlier this month at UFC 235 when Askren secure Robbie in a bulldog choke is currently 1-3 in his last four outings.
UFC president Dana White recently said he’s looking to book a rematch between Lawler and Askren, however ‘Funky’ wasn’t too interested. Since then UFC head honcho moved on and said UFC is looking for Ben Askren vs. Jorge Masvidal.
