Dana White Predicts Impressive 2 Million PPV Buys For Khabib Vs Conor Fight

Dana White Expects Khabib Vs Conor Could Crush UFC PPV Record!

Conor McGregor already holds the record for the most UFC PPV buys – 1.6 million. It was set at UFC 202 when he had a rematch versus Nate Diaz. But Conor McGregor is also ranked 2nd and 3rd – 1.6 million buys for UFC 196 crush versus Nate Diaz, and 1.3 million for his victory over Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205.

This gives Dana White many reasons for his statements. Dana White believes Khabib vs Conor might break the record with an impressive score of 2 million PPV buys! (via MMAMania.com)

“We’re looking at two million pay-per-view buys,” UFC President Dana White told Aaron Bronsteter at TSN Sports. “There was really no problems putting this fight together. It’s what makes Conor McGregor such an international superstar. This guy fights anybody, anywhere, any time. After a two-year layoff, he comes right out of the gate and wants Khabib and Khabib, who’s undefeated and obviously destroyed everybody in front of him, wants this fight now and wants to defend his title against Conor McGregor.”

There is the possibility The Notorious will get more attention and revenue. After all, he hadn’t fought for nearly two years in the UFC. His last fight was held on November 12th, 2016. UFC 229 will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 6, 2018, inside T-Mobile Arena.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is a great fighter inside the octagon. Yet, he is not a PPV golden goose like Mystic Mac. UFC doesn’t spend a lot of time and resources in promoting their fight. What do you think, is Dana White right? Will the UFC PPV record finally be smashed?
