Most of you young whippersnappers don’t remember these things called arcades. They were this magical, seizure-inducing place. You would step in and all you would see is flashing lights and quarters as far as they eye could see. Buttons could be heard being mashed, the swift sounds of joysticks being moved in all different directions. It was a beautiful thing, but sadly, arcades have gone the way of Japanese MMA, there are still some out there but it just isn’t the same.
If your second home was an arcade when you were younger, I have found us help. All You Can Arcade is a website that allows you to rent an arcade cabinet for a measly $75 a month! That’s is practically stealing, seeing as back in the day, you’d drop at least 10 bucks at an arcade, they even deliver it to your house!
Currently they are based in the Bay Area, which is where their selection has the biggest variety of cabinets.
Now if you excuse me, I need to take a plane to California, live with Jason Nawara for a month and rent a Robotron 2084 cabinet.
