On the journey of life there are crossroads. Before he ever thought about becoming a MMA fighter a young Chris Weidman came to a four-way stop in his life. Would Weidman used his wealth of God given abilities to continue his wrestling career or would he leave it all behind for the faint hope of an aspiring singing career?
Chris Weidman the fourth or fifth best member of any given New York 1990s boy band? Or Chris Weidman All-American wrestler with potential for eventual UFC greatest? Thankfully for UFC fans Weidman went down the road to MMA immortality. Weidman was this close to being a 30 year old man in a Boyz II Men cover band, performing weekend gigs in Atlantic City.
Weidman wouldn’t have been the best member of Long Island Love Impression (LILI) but with a strong work ethic, dedication to his singing craft, and a whole lot of luck Weidman could’ve been at the bare minimum a nearly subpar R & B singer.
