Tony Ferguson Goes Off On Conor Mcgregor And Coach John Kavanagh

Tony Ferguson has something to say to Conor Mcgregor and his coach John Kavanagh on social media.

Tony Ferguson, the UFC’s interim lightweight champion, previously posted on social media that he’ll take out both champ Conor McGregor and undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov and then move up to welterweight.

Ever since he scored the UFC interim lightweight title after defeating Kevin Lee, Ferguson has been vocal in his stance that undisputed lightweight champ Conor McGregor should either defend his or vacate his title.

The current rumors in the MMA world is a potential fight between UFC star Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, but interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is determined to stake his claim as the next challenger to McGregor’s legacy.

While Nurmagomedov after the fight said he wants to fight McGregor and Ferguson on the same night, yet ‘El Cucuy’ wants to make it clear that his focus is on a title unification bout against Irishman.

McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh recently posted a tweet mocking the fighters demanding that he defend or vacate his title, and Tony Ferguson didn’t waste any time and replied back.

Ferguson called McGregor a ‘p*ssy’ and also took a shot at SBG Ireland head coach Kavanagh.

Although Khabib impressed his fans with his dominant victory over Edson Barboza, interim champ Tony Ferguson is riding on a ten-fight win streak and has pounded a who’s who of top lightweight fighters is earned more than enough to challenge McGregor for title unification bout.

McGregor has not fought since he scored the lightweight title against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 back in November 2016. However, recently his coach John hinted that he is training and hoping to return to UFC octagon in 2018.

UFC brass Dana White, however, has hinted that Ferguson will square off with Nurmagomedov to determine the next true No. 1 contender. McGregor wants to be paid his worth and is currently trying to negotiate with the UFC for a new contract.
