Save those sick days: Now there’s a travel agency that books trips to space

Dave Walsh is the biggest science fiction fan that I know. His passion of it is something that I truly admire, sadly, I don’t share that same enthusiasm for it. I know it’s almost blasphemous to say on the internet (thank you Al Gore for inventing it) but I have absolutely zero interest in Star Wars, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, The Mass Effect trilogy and so on. They aren’t bad, in fact I’ve heard nothing but good thing from most of them, I personally just can’t get into the idea of a space based on fiction.

On the other hand I could listen to Neil deGrasse Tyson wax poetically about space all day long. Even though the majority of time I legitimately have no idea what he’s talking about. I find space itself to be fascinating, it’s the fiction that I have a problem with.

Space doesn’t need to have lightsabers of Star Wars or the politics and on goings of Star Trek, space itself is interesting enough without that.

This is why once I save up all my pennies in my piggy bank.

I will make a phone call to the first ever travel agency to make a trip to space.
