White: Khabib Walkout From Presser Was Perfectly Played Counter-Punch To Mcgregor’s Mind Games

According To Dana White Khabib Nurmagomedov Walking Out From UFC 229 Presser Was Perfectly played Counterpunch To Mcgregor’s Mind Games

Conor McGregor will make his long-awaited Octagon return to challenge undefeated 155-pound kingpin Khabib Nurmagoedov at UFC 229 on October 6th from Las Vegas.

In the build-up to each one of his bouts under UFC banner, Notorious has fired multiple shots at his foes in an attempt to get them out of their comfort zone.

Ahead of his UFC 229 bout Mcgregor has gone back and forth with Khabib on social media not only that he also takes aims at his father Abdulmanap before fully unleashing on him at September 20th pre-fight press conference.

At yesterday’s pre-fight presser as usual Mcgregor was late and had his opponent Khabib Nurmagomedov to wait for a while. Russian was bit pissed, refused to dance to Irishman’s tune, in return, he delivered the perfect counter to Conor McGregor’s lateness by conducting his media duties and bailing out before the Notorious arrived as per UFC head honcho Dana White.

“These are all mind games leading up until tomorrow,” White told ESPN. “If you really look at what happened in New York, I think Conor McGregor absolutely got in his head, got in his manager’s head, rattled and shook them all in New York. I thought [Thursday] was the perfect counter-punch by Khabib. Khabib went out there at three o’clock, said, ‘I’m a professional, I’m here, I’m here to answer questions, and then I’m going to leave.’ I thought it was played perfectly by Khabib.”

Kahbib ‘s American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) head coach Javier Mendez said previously that ‘Eagle’ was unshaken by the Mcgregor’s verbal assault and already prepared for the mind tricks before signing the fight.

Fans in attendance at last nights UFC 229 presser were no doubt were disappointed that both UFC stars didn’t square off. But you’ll see them face-off at tonight’s ceremonial weigh-ins stay tune.
