Werdum says he will make history by defeating Fedor

When UFC Undisputed came out last year I just spent days fighting Fabricio Werdum, getting submitted with an armbar and then immediately turning off my Xbox so that my perfect record wouldn’t be tarnished. I wanted to rip UFC Undisputed out of my 360, smash the disc in pieces and bury them in the five corners of Scotland like they did William Wallace in Braveheart. If there was a cheat code to make both of Werdum’s arm explode simultaneously, I would have kidnapped (catnapped?) my functional alcoholic neighbor’s cat and friggin…gave it a good home (What’s up PETA). Fortunately, I moved down to light heavyweight and used the ‘sock over the controller and button mash’ technique to submit my way through the ranks of the UFC Hall of Fame. Digital UFC Hall of Fame. Fabricio Werdum talked to Tatame magazine and said that he will defeat Fedor, but just not with an armbar.

‘The fight against Fedor is 99% confirmed to April 16th. I have three months to train to the most important fight of my life. I already have a strategy set. I can’t submit a guy like Fedor in the arm, in the leg, he would never tap… I’ll make history. Beat Fedor doesn’t mean I’m better than him, because he’s the man, but I’ll be better than him in that night’.

So you’re not using an armbar with Fedor but you constantly spammed it on me last summer? UFC Undisputed was fun…until I met you Fabricio. Now, it has just been a series of me throwing my controller against the wall and then hoping it still works seconds later. If you’re reading this Fabricio, this needs to stop. Now. [Source]
