UFC 219, taking place Saturday, Dec. 30 live on pay-per-view (PPV) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, features two of the most anticipated fights of the year. Event headlining a women’s featherweight title bout between Cris ‘Cyborg’ and Holly Holm. Cyborg (18-1) has not lost since her professional debut in 2005 and has been arguably the most dominant fighter in MMA since then.
Holm (11-3), former boxing champion pulled off one of the biggest upsets in (MMA) history when she dethroned Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 to claim the women’s bantamweight title. She is coming off an impressive head kick KO over Bethe Correia last June.
If Holm manages to defeat Cyborg at UFC 219, she’ll make a good case for the greatest female fighter on the planet.
In the co-main event, Khabib Nurmagomedov (24-0) will square off against Edson Barboza.
