When i first watched the Dream 16 opening video this past weekend, I realized that Japan is the only country where any of this stuff could take place. These guys are shifting the paradigm of mixed martial arts one event at a time and we have evidence of its evolution with every Dream intro video we witness. It’s as if FEG left a trail of innovation and now it’s our jobs to piece together whatever remnants we can find in order to combine our newly found knowledge into something we can share with others. Maybe I’m looking too deep into all of this. I mean, that was Tsuyoshi Kohsaka garbed in samurai garb, slamming at drum-kit like he was mid-game deep in Rock Band 2.
