Watch: Jon Jones Doing Extreme Heavy Deadlifting Ahead Of UFC Return

It’s nice to see the former (UFC) light heavyweight champion spending so much time in the gym. Is he moving to heavyweight?

Jones recently shared a video on social media where he was pumping some iron:

Jon Jones achievements throughout his recognized career have come under intense scrutiny following a second failed drug test.

Jones’ second anti-doping violation, which stemmed from a pre-fight drug test ahead of his UFC 214 grudge match with Daniel Cormier, discovered traces of the banned anabolic steroid Turanibol in his system.

The California State Athletic Commission will hold a hearing into Jones’ second anti-doping on February 27.

USADA have yet to set a date for their hearing on Jones’ drug test.

Jones is no stranger to pushing heavy weight inside the gym and may be gearing up for UFC Octagon return later this year. That’s according to Jones longtime manager Kawa, who expects a settlement with USADA at their upcoming hearing.

Jones has not competed since his knockout win over Daniel Cormier, and the result was changed to a no contest, and the title returned to Cormier after the drug test results came back.

How many of you would want to see Jon Jones back in Octagon this year?
