The 2011 IBJJF No Gi Worlds just went done this past weekend in NYC. Check out the results here.
I didn’t get to see the action live, but it looked to be a strong event, despite the obvious absence of a lot of notable black belt talent on account of ADCC Finals taking place one week prior in the UK. Regardless, some top grapplers showed up and many a great grapplings was had.
Kayron Gracie won his Medium Heavy division and took 2nd in Absolute (getting sub’d by Davi Ramos). Check out an ultra slick inverted armbar from a back-taking scramble.
