Michael Bisping Reacts To UFC’s Decision To Strip Colby Covington Of Interim Title
Earlier this week, UFC decided to extend the title fight offer to Darren Till against welterweight champion Tyron Woodley at UFC 228 on September 8 in Dallas, after Colby Covington couldn’t fight at the proposed date, as he needed more time to recover from sinus injury.
Covington who score the interim title at UFC 225 after defeating Rafael Dos Anjos via decision and made a case for himself to be eligible for title unification bout with Woodley, now the worse is he will strip off his title as soon Till versus Woodley throw down inside the Octagon.
Both Woodley and Covington once trained at American Top Team exchanged cutthroat verbal jabs via social media and during press conferences and shared the respective story of each other how their sparring session went through. Now Covington has to sit back empty-handed and wait to fight the winner.
Covington who’s most hated fighter on the UFC roster and pretty much have a beef with several fighters including Michael Bisping; both have traded jabs on air during the UFC 225 post-fight interview at FOX. Covington blasted the panel for picking Dos Anjos instead of him, for that ‘The Count’ fires back and things become nasty.

“That’s why I told Colby Covington to take a long walk off a short pier when he talked shit on that thing; Everyone was like, ‘Oh, he just won the belt, how can you talk shit?’ I said, ‘No he didn’t just win the belt!’ Is he the champion right now? No! Colby Covington, good luck going to President Trump with empty hands. At least I’m holding a beer, what are you holding, dumb (expletive)?”
Peak @bisping here as he reacts to @darrentill2's title shot and @colbycovmma being stripped. Better damn well watch this. pic.twitter.com/YOst2yAGDv

Well love him or hate him, that’s a truth Covington is stripping of his title, and many people are against an interim title that is of no worth.
What are your thought’s on Bisping’s comments on Covington?
