Jiri Prochazka knows a thing or two about grabbing the bull by the horns.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion recently appeared in a commercial promoting Project Rock’s ‘Be Bullsish’ campaign. The brand, of course, is owned by famed actor, XFL co-owner, and WWE Superstar Dwayne Johnson

In the video, which you can see below, Prochazka goes toe-to-toe with a Brahma Bull—a symbol that has been synonymous with Johnson since his early days in the world of sports entertainment.

“To “Be Bullish” is a mentality of optimism and the universal power of when our grit transforms into our forward progress,” the post reads. “The Brahma Bull spirit is inside all of us, motivating you to be a disruptive force of relentless energy and strength.”

In 2022, Project Rock inked a deal with the UFC that would see the two companies release their first co-branded footwear. Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, UFC will provide all of their athletes and corner teams with Project Rock footwear which they will wear during all official UFC Fight Week activities including open workouts, official weigh-ins, on Fight Night in the locker rooms, and during their walkouts to the Octagon.

What’s Next for Jiri Prochazka?

Considering Jiri Prochazka’s unique training regimens that often see him punching trees in the wilderness, getting lost in the Las Vegas mountains, or sitting in a pitch-black room without food for days on end, ‘BJP’ appears to have been the perfect choice for The Rock’s latest Project Rock ad.

The last time fight fans saw Prochazka in action, he suffered a brutal second-round knockout against Alex Pereira at UFC 303 on June 29. It was the second time in less than a year that Prochazka found himself on the losing end of a scrap with Pereira. Despite the loss, Prochazka is still the No. 1 ranked contender at 205, meaning one big win could put him right back into title talks.

Thus far, Prochazka has not teased a potential return date or possible opponent, but the picture may become clearer after ‘Poatan’ puts his title on the line against surging superstar Khalil Rountree at UFC 307 on October 5.
