UFC featherweight Ilia Topuria and a group of friends have been seen getting into a bar fight, which they did not appear to start.
A member of the UFC featherweight division has been caught on video getting into a fight in a bar. The video was released earlier this week that shows rising UFC star Ilia Topuria involved in a fight alongside a Spanish singer inside of a bar or club. The video was posted by the Twitter account MMA Dirt and shows Topuria being approached by a man, he was pushed and then struck back in what seems to be self-defense. The man in the video was not identified.

Ilia Topuria and singer Omar Montes are involved in an altercation in a bar
There are few details surrounding the altercation at this time. Topuria and his group of friends, which included Spanish singer and reality star Omar Montes seem to be the victims of the harassment before turning the tables. There has been no comment about the incident from any of the men involved at this time. Earlier Topuria and Montes were seen together on social media training at a gym in Alicante, Spain, which could be where the fight happened.
Topuria is fresh off his most recent win over Bryce Mitchell at UFC 282 on December 10. That win was his 13th in a row. The Georgian and Spanish fighter is currently undefeated in his professional career and has begun to draw the eyes of the UFC featherweight division. He is currently ranked ninth in the division and appears to just be getting started.
Topuria has now had five fights in the UFC, one at lightweight. Now that he is in the top ten he will most likely see better competition and if he continues rising to the occasion, perhaps he will find himself in line for a title fight by the end of 2023. On his social media, he has spoken about this dream publically.
