What To Watch
Whether it’s on short notice or a full camp, 26 fighters attempt to make weight this International Fight Week, including Alex Pereira and Jiri Prochazka who top the bill in a light heavyweight title fight.
Pereira and Prochazka enter UFC 303 months after scoring big wins at UFC 300, filling in on two weeks notice to replace the injured Conor McGregor in the pay-per-view main event. It’s a rematch of the highest order with “Poatan” taking the first meeting between the two, TKO’ing Prochazka in the second round at UFC 295 to win the vacant light heavyweight throne last November.
The co-headliners also come in on short notice as former UFC title challenger Brian Ortega meets rising prospect Diego Lopes in a lightweight matchup, originally scheduled for featherweight.
Diego Lopes tells me he went to sleep at 146.5 lbs last night. His manager woke him up at 4 am with the news that Brian Ortega was not making weight.

Kicking off the main card, Ian Machado Garry meets Michael ‘Venom’ Page at welterweight in what should be a striking point-fight.
