The final UFC event of the year is almost here.

UFC 296 takes place this weekend in Las Vegas, Nevada with a card that’s stacked from top to bottom. In the pay-per-view headliner, UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards goes to war with former interim champ Colby Covington. The flyweight title is also on the line on Saturday as champion Alexandre Pantoja runs it back with Brandon Royval.

Shavkat Rakhmonov faces off with Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson in a potential title eliminator at welterweight. In a weight class below, Tony Ferguson will look to end his losing streak against British star Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett

Opening up the main card is a short-notice featherweight bout between Josh Emmett and Bryce Mitchell.

Before they hit each other in the Octagon, 24 fighters will first have to hit the scales to make things official. Belal Muhammad and Brandon Moreno will also weigh in as they are back-ups for the two title fights, should a champ or a challenger miss weight.
