Ubereem says Fedor is now his primary target

After Ubereem launched that paralyzing knee at Fujita’s head, paramedics had to carry him out on a stretcher and some joker said that he died on the way to the Tokyo General Hospital. To be fair, no one really knew what happened to Fujita. Dude’s eyelids would not close, arms would not move and Ubereem stood over his body and decided not to give him the middle finger. Today, we know that Fujita has one hell of a concussion and that he should be alright. Keep in mind, Fujita was the only fighter to rock Fedor. Ubereem nearly killed him. At the post-fight press conference, Ubereem makes it clear that he intends to defend his Strikeforce heavyweight belt in May-June against The Last Emperor.

“I want to fight Fedor in May or June, so he’s my primary target from now on. I’ll be training for him only.”

“In March, I have other obligations with K-1, so I think April is a little too close to do such an important fight. So March, K-1; May-June, Fedor.”

One of the last things I could ever wish upon myself is to be Ubereem’s ‘primary target’. Damn. When you’re Ubereem’s primary target, life is pretty much over. Being Ubereem’s primary target is one of the worst ways to start off 2010. [Source]
