A major shift in MMA management has occurred.

Tim Simpson, a former Paradigm Sports agent, has established his own MMA management company and has taken a slew of top clients with him including reigning UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto revealed a list of Simpson’s initial roster of talent which included some former world champions and budding prospects in addition to the UFC’s 170-pound king.

“Big news in MMA management space, longtime Paradigm agent Tim Simpson has founded a new firm, Chosen Advisory Group,” Okamoto tweeted. “His initial roster is Adesanya, Edwards, Prochazka, Holloway, Casey O’Neil, Jack Della Maddalena, Muhammad Mokaev, Jack Hermansson and Don Madge.”

Simpson’s newly-formed firm, Chosen Advisory Group, issued a press release detailing the organization’s structure and the services it will provide to the talent they represent.

“I am thrilled to start this new chapter in my career, and I’m honoured to be working with this small group of incredible athletes I value so highly both professionally and personally,” Simpson said in statement.

Despite the split from Paradigm, Simpson is still on good terms with his former employer and hopes to maintain a relationship with the organization.

“I wish my friends and former colleagues from Paradigm nothing but continued success and happiness. I will always cherish the experiences and memories from my time, and I’m happy that we will have an ongoing professional partnership.”
