This is Chris Weidman sharing with the world his best Anderson Silva impressions

Alright, this is going to be a weird one, but hear me out. Basically, it seems like Chael Sonnen was the Chris Columbus-directed Harry Potter Potter movies (Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets) while Chris Weidman is the Prisoner of Azkaban of Anderson opponents. Aside from some choice theatrics and effects, Anderson’s opponents and the Harry Potter movies are the same — they just have subtle differences here and there — but the arcs and basic structure are always the same. Always. The tone, however… The tone of the series shifted when Alfonso Cuaron helmed Prisoner of Azkaban, and the tone is pretty obviously different comparing Chael and Weidman, even if their arcs may end up being exactly the same.

They may have a future together as a kind of vaudevillian song and dance duo, though. Weidman could be the goofy impressionist to Chael’s barking straight man…

It seems like Chris Weidman started by calling out Anderson every month, then every few weeks, and now Chris Weidman is providing unique content daily. For today’s snippet, we see Weidman doing his best Anderson Silva impression. Both in voice and dance. Yep.
