In late 2009 I attempted to write a song on my acoustic guitar called ‘Omoplata the Gogoplata’. Try as I might, I couldn’t expand the song further than the opening line of ‘Oh my Omoplata you know you gotta go Gogoplata’. I had nothing, except an ending, which I knew would end with the line ‘Drink more mother****ing Horchata‘. What can I say, lyrics to a song about Omoplata’s and Gogoplata’s are as sparse as the techniques being applied victoriously in a pro MMA match, and Horchata is delicious as a drink or a lyric.
Cage Warriors 46 went down Thursday night in the Ukraine and local middleweight fighter Pavel Kusch caught Alexander Starikov in the hold in under a minute. Very nice, Pavel.
