Efrain Escudero’s friend enabled me to pass Spanish 202 at the University of Arizona, and I bought him a 12-pack of Moosehead Lager for it. I just needed an outlet to tell someone that. Without him, I would still be slamming my head on the wall, years later. College Spanish cost me a case of Mooshead, and it was the greatest $13.99 I’ve ever spent. Aside from my brief stint of foreign languages in college, I learned most of my Spanish from watching ‘Caliente’ on Saturday mornings. It was a show in which gorgeous women danced in some undisclosed location, while rudely being interrupted by some guy talking with a microphone. In the greater scope of the universe, the show was meaningless. It only served a purpose for sexually deprived males who happened to be up early on a Saturday. That’s it.
For some reason, I think the director of ‘Caliente’ is now in charge of ‘Las Senadoras,’ a show hosted by these three investigative reporters. Recently, Jorge Masvidal appeared on the show to promote his upcoming title fight with Gilbert Melendez which goes down this Saturday on Showtime. You may not be able to understand Spanish, but I’m sure you can fully appreciate this video anyway. [Source]
