Alright, so four months ago we wrote an article about Andrew Robl and his $50,000 bet with fellow professional poker player Sorel Mizzi that he could defeat him in an MMA fight. Keep in mind that none of these guys are trained in the sport. They basically make a living sitting on their butts while carefully looking at pieces of rectangular paper. These guys are also well compensated in their profession — widely considered the top poker players in the industry. So what does this have to do with anything in your life? Well, it doesn’t. However, it appears that MiddleEasy just assembled an MMA fight between these two by accident.
The article we based our post on was actually from March 16th 2011. We were just entirely too lazy to check the date when we published the article. Now it appears our recently published article rekindled the fight between the two poker players, and Andrew Robl even made a video about the entire ordeal. Massive props for the shout-out!
