A few days ago we announced that EA Sports MMA and MiddleEasy have teamed up to host an official ‘EA Live Broadcast’ for a simulated version of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix. In short, we’re going to pick eight players to represent each of the eight fighters in the Strikeforce Grand-Prix, randomly assign a fighter to each player, and have them compete on February 9th 2011 in front of an international audience. We’ve already selected five fighters for the tournament, but tonight we will select the remaining three along with a few alternates to participant in the digital Strikeforce Grand-Prix.
Tonight at 7:00pm PST/ 10:00pm EST, we will have an impromptu ‘Friday Night Fights’ and will be selecting the remaining individuals for the tournament. In order to participate, hop on Xbox 360 and add the Xbox Live Gamertag: ‘MiddleEasy’ to your list. Send us a message and we’ll invite you on to one of our cards. If you perform well, you will be short-listed for a slot in the tournament.
