Things got heated when Chechen fighter Shovkhal Churchayev pulled a gun out on his opponent.
It was a scary scene in Moscow, Russia when a fighter pulled out a gun on his opponent during a podcast interview. The two men involved were Shovkhal Churchayev and Mohammad Hebati. Churchayev was the one who pulled the firearm and attacked Hebati.
The two were guests on the Russian podcast called “Rating Brothers” to talk about their upcoming fight at Hype Fighting Championship. For about 40 minutes the fighters sat together and talked but then Churchayev began to creep closer to his opponent and ultimately slapped him across the face. Hebati fell to the ground and the crew of the show pounced on them. Churchayev pulled out a weapon and finally, the two men were pulled apart after a physical altercation.

Mohammad Hebati has commented on the incident involving Churchayev
Following the incident, Hebati took to his Instagram to comment on the events and spoke about being threatened.
“I’m fine, as you saw, while he told me a hundred times, “Brother, take it away,” he distracted me and threw me off the chair, and when he saw that I could stand up and take my revenge, he took the gun,” he said translated via LowKick MMA. “He pulled me and said to kneel, the Persian nation, which has not brought anyone to its knees for thousands of years, what will happen to this coward, all his friends are about seven people, and I am alone. Despite the guns and the herd that I was with and the police on the way, I couldn’t get involved, but I swear that revenge will be 100%.”
According to reports the authorities were called and are looking into the incident. Hebati who is Iranian has revealed that the Iranian embassy in Moscow has been notified. The Russian police are also involved and due to the threat with a deadly weapon, Churchayev could be looking at jail time.
