Shogun has evened up the series to 1-1 and after tonight, I don’t think Forrest Griffin wants the rubber match. Shogun fought like he does in Gary LaPlante’s wet dreams, walking right at Forrest and swinging for the fences. After very, very brief feeling out period, Forrest tries to play the leg kick game but Shogun wants nothing of it. Rua circles out and blitzes like a Magic the Gathering creature card with high health/damage and trample. I’m so sorry for that analogy, but it works. Shogun keeps moving forward and keeps swinging, wanting to end Griffin’s night early. Which he does in brutal fashion.
