Seven chicks have refused to fight Erin Toughill on Jan 30th

If they say God comes like a thief in the night, then Erin Toughill comes at you like an overhand right to the chin (and then takes your wallet when you’re convulsing on the ground). She hasn’t lost a single MMA fight in five years. She’s boxed Muhammad Ali’s offspring. In fact, she was Razor Rob’s boxing coach for over two years. If I were looking to create the female version of ED-209 (Robocop was raw back in the day), Toughill would be on the top of a very short list. Back in August of 2009, Toughill was scheduled to bang against an undisclosed opponent on the Carano/Cyborg Strikeforce card. Scott Coker couldn’t find an opponent for her so she was placed on injury reserve for either Gina Carano or Cyborg. Unfortunately, the injury fairy was taking a break before it invaded the house of every UFC heavyweight later that year.

But it was cool. Toughill’s Strikeforce debut was pushed back to November for the Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers card where she was scheduled to collide with Marloes Coenen. The winner was awarded a shot at Cyborg and her 145lb belt. The universe was operating as normal, birds were chirping in the sky and doing their usual bird activities…and then Erin Toughill suddenly dropped out of her November 7th bout. That same day, I lost $100 betting on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Actually, the only reason I remember that day is because I lost $100 betting on the Cavs. I’m sure if I wasn’t such a degenerate gambler, October 27th would just have been another insignificant day where I would have made Ramen and throw my wireless mouse against the wall because it apparently has the battery life of a warm jar of mayonnaise.

Since November, Erin Toughill has been using her downtime to tell us how Kim Couture is destroying the sport of MMA and giving her tips on how to properly construct a ‘Bio’ page on her website. Just before the end of 2009, Toughill scored a spot on FCF (Freestyle Cage Fighting) 39 which is scheduled to go down January 30th (the same day as Strikeforce Miami). It will also be host to 135lb tournament that, from what I understand, been outsourced by Strikeforce. 5oz of Pain claims that seven women were contacted to be an opponent for Erin Toughill and all seven have refused to face her at FCF 39. Bummer. Chicks don’t want to fight one of the best 145lbers out there…and you can’t blame them. Maybe we’ll see Erin Toughill smack dudes around again like she did in highschool but until then, we look forward to her telling us how Kim Couture is destroying the galaxy and everything around it.
