Sean Strickland continues to be at odds with Ian Garry and Sean O’Malley.
Strickland hasn’t been shy in taking aim at others, but he’s been criticized for wanting to make things physical when his personal traumatic childhood experiences are brought up by his foes. It’s no secret that trash talk in MMA, UFC in particular, has crossed many lines and UFC CEO Dana White isn’t interested in cleaning things up because “it’s the fight business.”
It has led to a crowd brawl between Strickland and his UFC 297 opponent Dricus Du Plessis. Strickland has even threatened to stab Dricus, but the two have seen shared some mutual respect through media appearances. Don’t expect Strickland to be sharing handshakes and hugs with Garry or O’Malley, however.
Sean Strickland Still Heated At Ian Garry & Sean O’Malley
During a media scrum to hype up his UFC 297 title fight against Dricus Du Plessis, Sean Strickland spoke to media members. He explained why him going after Sean O’Malley’s wife is different than both O’Malley and Garry going after his childhood trauma.

“I go hard, man,” Strickland said. “I made fun of f*cking Sean O’Malley’s wife getting f*cked by his buddy, I made fun of the cuck Ian Garry but the difference is, dude, you went on a podcast and you joked about calling a homie to f*ck your wife. I didn’t go make fun of anything that you didn’t joke about. This isn’t traumatic for you.”
He then shifted his focus solely on Garry, who he says he’d fight right now if given the chance.

“Ian Garry is such a f*cking c*nt,” Strickland said. “When you guys interview him, do you ever ask him like, ‘What are you gonna do when she’s 60 and you’re 40, are you allowed to f*ck other women?’ God, I hate that f*cking guy. If Ian Garry was right in front of me I’d f*cking fight him. He’s a piece of sh*t.”
Strickland and Garry began their beef after the UFC middleweight champion urged “The Future” to leave his wife because she is a “WAG.” Strickland said Garry responded to this by threatening a lawsuit. Since that incident, the two have been trading nasty digs, with Garry saying that the 185-pound ruler is using his past to hurt others.
Hopefully, things between Sean Strickland and Ian Garry don’t spill out onto the streets.
