- Khalil Rountree told the media that he doesn’t know who Sean Strickland is
- “Tarzan” hit back and accused “The War Horse” of following the orders of an alleged cult
UFC light heavyweight sensation Khalil Rountree has been dismissive of Sean Strickland’s taunting and entire identity. However, that didn’t stop “Tarzan” from mocking “The War Horse” and in his latest dig, Strickland accused Rountree of being a member of some “cult.”
Rountree needs Help
The apparent friction between Strickland and Rountree started after “The War Horse” opened up about his mental health dilemma and had a meltdown in front of the media last year. Strickland relentlessly blasted his fellow UFC fighter and said:
“Gayest shit I’ve ever seen and I love bi women so ive seen a lot of gay… Yeah you’re really special, a special little snow flake… This man is the definition of a PC BETA male. You all would hate him….. seriously being in the same room as him makes me cringe.”

Following his KO win over Chris Daukaus at UFC Vegas 78, Rountree was quizzed to comment on Strickland’s remarks. However, “The War Horse” insisted that he has never even heard of Strickland’s name.
“I don’t even know who that is, dude,” Rountree said of Strickland. “You guys keep asking me about this name. I don’t even know this person.”
In one of his recent Instagram stories, “Tarzan” responded and dropped a wild accusation, claiming Rountree only pretended that he never heard of him because that’s what the ChoiceCenter Leadership University, an organization that offers “adult and teen personal development and leadership courses using experiential learning to elevate Emotional Intelligence (EQ),” has asked him to do.
“When your level 100 @choicecenter tells you not to talk, you listen,” Strickland wrote.
“You guys I’m not messing with you @choicecenter is a cult. We gotta rescue Roundtree,” he added.

Sean needs to focus on his title shot
While it seems as if nothing could stop Strickland from hitting out at his fellow fighters, he certainly needs to stay focused on his upcoming middleweight title fight with Israel Adesanya.
Izzy has made it clear that he is not underestimating Strickland and that he would break “Tarzan’s” jaw if he talks trash with him inside the Octagon.
Adesanya vs. Strickland will headline UFC 293 on Sept. 9th at the Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney, Australia.
On the other hand, Rountree has now gone unbeaten in his last four fights and is edging closer to breaking into the light heavyweight division’s Top 10.
