The possibility of an MMA fight between social media moguls Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk has officially taken the world by storm.

What started as a nonchalant challenge from Musk has evolved into a full-blown hype train for a fight that may never actually happen. However, if it does go down, it’s likely to be the biggest joke in the history of combat sports. That is according to Sean O’Malley and his long-time coach Tim Welch, who recently discussed the possibility of the Tesla Motors CEO strapping on a pair of four-ounce gloves for a scrap with the co-founder of Facebook.

“Bro, that is going to be the biggest laughing stock of the world if they ever fought,” Welch said during a recent episode of the Timbo Sugar Show on YouTube.

Sean O’Malley poked some fun at the potential circus fight, saying:

“Imagine Elon trying to save the Earth and is like, ‘Alright, I gotta f*ckin’ take some time off for this fight,” O’Malley quipped. “Let’s get back to work.”

Zuckerberg vs. Musk Could Generate Hundreds of Millions of Dollars in Revenue

It’s hard to imagine Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg, two of the richest men in the world, agreeing to beat the hell out of one another, but you can’t deny that it would be the biggest fight in the history of the sport. Not to mention the biggest pay-per-view event of all time.

“How many pay-per-views would it sell,” Welch contemplated. “Five million or more?”

Dana White certainly hopes so, hence why the UFC President has been pushing hard, talking the potential fight up to TMZ Sports and even sporting a Zuck vs. Musk shirt to hype up the potential fight.

O’Malley and Welch also expressed some interest in seeing who the two billionaires decide to train with in the event that they sign on the dotted line for a fight. Musk has already had some offers from individuals like recently indicted social media misogynist Andrew Tate and UFC legend Georges St-Pierre. On the other hand, Mark Zuckerberg was recently spotted training with ONE flyweight submission grappling world champion Mikey Musumeci.

With hundreds of millions of dollars at stake, everyone within earshot of the combat sports world will be looking to get a piece of the pie.
