Leading up to the third women’s fight in UFC history, I was wondering if Sheila Gaff was going to live up to her aggro highlights and attempt to knock out Sara McMann with a faux glove tap. She didn’t, but she still came out of the gates thinking Sara McMann wasn’t an Olympic wrestler and basically ran into Sara’s arms for the takedown. From there, Joe Rogan makes a few ‘Gaff’ puns that I enjoyed a little too much, and McMann has her way with Gaff on the ground.
A few minutes of domination later, McMann slips on the crucifix, Gaff struggles to escape to no avail, and Sara McMann is the third woman to win inside the Octagon evarrrr.
