Northcutt (9-2) is coming off by a unanimous decision win over Michel Quinones last month at UFC Norfolk at lightweight. The 21-year-old has already made six appearances in the UFC, compiling a 4-2 record.
Both of Sage’s defeats have come at welterweight class, with Bryan Barberena choking him out back in January 2016 and Mickey Gall won via submission in the second round last December. In between those two welterweight appearances was a unanimous decision victory against Enrique Marin at UFC 200.
Gouti (12-3), 30, of France, has struggled in the UFC. He arguably saved his career by knocking out Andrew Holbrook at UFC Rotterdam in September. The win ended a three-fight skid where he lost by finish in all of his UFC bouts.
UFC Fight Night 126 takes place at the Frank Erwin Center, Austin does not have the main event but does feature a heavyweight fight between Derrick Lewis and Marcin Tybura.
