Rumble Johnson has signed with Titan FC and still intends to fight at middleweight

In such a terrible economy, you pretty much have to take any job that comes along. We have chemistry graduates cleaning toilets, qualified teachers face painting and making balloon animals and Bob Sapp fighting every other weekend just to pay the bills. The only way to get any kind of job is to have a name and a reputation. Unless your name is “Jon” and you have a reputation for wearing a ski mask and running from the Russian mafia in which case the only job you can get is at Rage Cage. Clearly I’ve been watching too much Delocated but don’t let that detract you from the fact that Anthony Johnson has signed with Titan FC and will debut in the promotion at 185 lbs in Titan FC 22 on May 25th. As he said on the Titan FC website:

“I’m back, and I’m fighting May 25 with Titan Fighting Championship, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to headline this event for all the fans in Kansas City and watching that night live on HDNet,” said Johnson. “I am so pumped to be fighting again, and I’m ready to take on whatever 185 pounder they put in front of me… I received offers from all over the world, and after a lot of consideration, my manager Glenn Robinson and I settled on Titan because it’s a good promotion, but more importantly it’s run by really good people.”

So, how many of you just assumed he would move to Strikeforce then? I’ll be the first to raise my hand.
