Rose Namajunas Still Feels The Consequences Of Conor McGregor Hooligan Bus Attack

Rose Namajunas Only Leaves Her House When She Goes To The Training Session!

Conor McGregor nearly destroyed UFC 223 after a hooligan bus attack. Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg had to withdraw due to injuries caused by glass shards. Artem Lobov was also removed due to his direct involvement in the incident. The attack happened in April this year. But Rose Namajunas still feels psychological consequences!

Coach Trevor Wittman claims Rose Namajunas doesn’t show in public places at all. Thug Rose leaves her house only when she wants to train. (via MMAMania.com)

“She doesn’t leave her house,” Wittman told Ariel Helwani. “It’s still there. She doesn’t go in public places. When you’re in a public place and there’s people everywhere, you’re going to be like ‘Oh my god, what could happen?’ Like if you’re involved in a 9/11 bombing, it’s gonna be hard to be in a city scenario. Every time you get in an elevator you’re gonna think of it.”

Conor McGregor was arrested after the attack. The Notorious tried to revenge to Khabib Nurmagomedov. Khabib previously had a heated altercation with his teammate, Artem Lobov.

Rose Namajunas wasn’t physically hurt in the incident. She defended her UFC Strawweight title versus Joanna Jedrzejczyk via unanimous decision. Rose Namajunas stated two months ago that she is still haunted by the attack, but talks with a therapist on a regular basis.

As well as you know, physical damage comes and heals. But psychological consequences can sometimes last for ages. Let’s hope Rose Namajunas will overcome this problem!
