Pics/Video: Ronda Rousey’s cut was nastier/cooler/bloodier than we first thought

Ronda Rousey cut

There are three stages of emotions one will go through upon viewing this new Ronda Rousey cut. It’s okay, there is no need to be freaked out. We’ve all been there.

Last Sunday at WWE’s Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Ronda Rousey harkened back to her early MMA and UFC blowout wins. Rousey dispatched of her challenger Ruby Riott in less than two minutes. In the world of WWE pay-per-view matches often going much longer than their TV counterparts, it was cool to see Rousey run up the score for once.

Rousey’s MMA fights used to fit on Vine videos and now people look at you sideways when you say (or type out) ‘Vine videos’.

What happened to the Raw women’s champion post-match is what stole the headlines the next day. New footage of Becky Lynch’s attack on Rousey is documented in the champ’s latest on the road Vlog.

Sidebar, but pro wrestlers have rarely granted this much access through a self-produced video diary before and Rousey is really kind of blazing trails here. At least on the WWE level of wrestling, behind the scenes clips like the ones Rousey’s drops on her YouTube channel is surprisingly rare to see.

Which leads us to the head wound Rousey received courtesy of Lynch hitting over the head with a crutch over and over again. It’s gnarly and backstage Rousey reveals she wants it to be just glued shut. Awesome, extra bloody and we can’t take our eyes off it.

All the feels.

Also did we mention Rousey did her ring-gear up like Sonya Blade?

Whoa

Ouch

Coooooool
