There were rumors 12-Gauge will face Rachel Ostovich in a 125-pound division on January 19, 2019. The fight was in works for the first UFC event under ESPN deal. Initially, both sides agreed to the bout. But 12-Gauge might have gone too far with her inevitable return blabbing on Twitter.
Paige VanZant currently claims Rachel Ostovich showdown is nothing but fake news! She is not medically cleared yet!
#FakeNews..sorry everyone I’m not even cleared yet. Hoping to get cleared this week to slowly start back to training! Off to Vegas Thursday to see my doctor.

Unfortunately, Paige VanZant (7-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC) broke her arm in UFC Fight Night 124 match versus Jessica Rose-Clark, on January 14, 2018. She had undergone surgery but the situation got complicated. In June this year, Page stated that, for some reason, her bone is still broken. Another corrective surgery was a must.

12-Gauge was sent under the knife again last month. Paige VanZant plans to visit her doctor on Thursday. We are expecting an update on her health soon. Until then, let’s hope 12-Gauge will see the inside of the octagon soon! Her kicks can really raise the crowd on its feet. Just remember that switch kick against Bec Rawlings!
