Conor McGregor has slayed his middle finger waving demon. At UFC 202, McGregor discovered redemption after 25 minutes of calculated striking attacks versus Nate Diaz. A finish would have been nice, but with both men having a full camp to prepare, McGregor and his team proved their point.
Coming off a win over his biggest rival, McGregor is back in the driver’s seat when it comes to his career. Eddie Alvarez, Jose Aldo, Nate Diaz or maybe even a boxing crossover fight are all the leverage McGregor needs to bank even more cash from the UFC and their new ownership group. McGregor is once again the biggest star in the sport and at the box office.
