It’s always tough to see a guy like Mike Guymon retire from MMA after a loss. Leaving his former suicide attempt aside, an outpouring of emotion exhibited in this video of Guymon and Damarques talking backstage is troubling nonetheless. That’s my half-assed attempt at a Dr. Phil impression, and admittedly it’s horrible. I guess I’ll stick to what I know best, using humor in my writing to cover-up my sheltered and emotionally damaged upbringing. Nothing says funny like being placed in a mental institution in 6th grade.
