Conor is in good spirits

McGregor suffered an injury prior to the scheduled UFC 303 press conference in Dublin, Ireland. It later became the reason why he had to pull out from the card and the UFC had to cancel the main event.

Providing an update on his injury, the former UFC two-division champ insists that there is nothing to worry about at this point. More importantly, McGregor vowed to come back stronger for the fans longing to see his return.

” Very tough to be ruled out of my scheduled return bout. I picked up an injury prior to the press conference that required more time to heal than was available to me. The decision to postpone the fight was not made lightly, but one made in consultation with my doctors, the UFC, and my team. My fans and opponent deserve me at my best for this fight and we will get there! Thank you for the messages of support, I am in good spirits and confident I’ll be back! ☘️,” McGregor wrote on X.

On the other hand, Chandler also shared his thoughts on his current situation.

Chandler and McGregor were supposed to headline UFC 303 on June 29. With “Norotious” out, the UFC 303 main event will now be a light heavyweight title fight rematch between reigning champion Alex Pereira and challenger Jiri Prochazka.
