Matt Lindland has a film that attempts to explain why he was thrown out of UFC

If you want to individually smack each person in this trailer for not knowing who Matt Lindland is, enjoy your multiple 2nd degree assault charges. However, if you want to hide behind a bush and throw half-empty bottles of salad dressing at their heads, I’ll be right there with you. Despite being the #1 ranked middleweight in the world at the time, the UFC released Matt Lindland because he wore a Sportsbook t-shirt at the weigh-ins for his UFC 52 bout with Joe Doerksen. Dude got dropped for not adhering to the dress-code. Fighting Politics explores the alternative theory that Dana White personally cut Lindland from the organization in order to push Rich Franklin as the UFC ‘poster-boy’. Damn I hate using that term. It feels like I’m forever in a Boy George video. Check out this trailer for Fighting Politics which is available on DVD and Blu-Ray, but surprisingly not in 3D. Bummer.
