She returned after two years to get a finish over Mariya Agapova.

Ahead of her nearing contest, Moroz made history when she became the first UFC fighter to feature for Playboy.

Maryna Moroz is excited about posing for Playboy

In an interview with TMZ, Maryna Moroz talked about becoming the first UFC fighter to pose nude for Playboy Centerfold.

“It’s super cool, I am still surprised for me. I am so happy. Of course, I know this news is a little bit early and I want to post everything but my manager told me to wait, we have another day to post it. I’m so happy. It’s a very good opportunity for me, and I’m just ready for work.”

Moroz says the opportunity changed her life

Moroz shared that she was not as open as she is now and credited moving to the US from her native Ukraine for the change.

“Before, I was a very closed person,” she continued. “Now, I think America changed me. Now I am open, and I feel more energy. When I show maybe nude pictures, people write me very good messages and I take energy. I love it so much. People say, ‘oh, you’re so sexy, you’re a fighter, and you’re still a woman, you’re still beautiful, you take care of your face, hair, body.”

“I think to be sexy and make pictures, it’s helped me to relax, to be calm, and I enjoy when inside when people write me messages. Working with Playboy is super big for me. The level, I changed everything in my life. Now, I am different. I am a different person.”

Moroz looked phenomenal in her return at UFC 272. She is confident the boost in her modeling career won’t interfere with her dedication to being a professional mixed martial artist.
