Lion Takeshi will once again step into the white ring under the DREAM banner when he faces Koichiro Matsumoto, a DEEP veteran who is no slouch.
Matsumoto is the current DEEP featherweight Champion while Takeshi was the 143 lb champion of the Shooto organization. Takeshi lost the title in a fight of the year candidate to Hatsu Hioki at Shooto: Like a Tiger, Like a Dragon by way of split decision.
This will be a very fun match-up. Takeshi just fought on April 29th in the Shooto: Shooto Tradition 2011 where he won by way of technical knockout.
