It’s been announced that Limp Bizkit will be playing for the UFC 100 weekend. This will apparently be their only US stop on their “Unicorns N’ Rainbows” Tour. Really? Mr. Dana White WTF? First off having a band take their “Unicorns N’ Rainbows” Tour to a milestone UFC event seems counterintuitive. At least Affliction had Megadeth playing DURING the event. See ‘deth’ is in the title! It’s UFC 100; the fans demand a Dethklok like show with destructive lasers and face melting solos. On top of that there’s a reason it’s the band’s ONLY US appearance. These guys are like the David Hasslehoff of the rock except their only popular in depressed soviet block countries where Fred Durst’s lyrics are a happy reprise from raising their children with nuclear mutations (see Kazakhstan). Durst is quoted as saying “the ultimate fighting music has found its way to the Ultimate Fighting Championships.” I’m starting a petition to have Frank Trigg’s first fight back be against Fred Durst.
