Khabib’s Uncle Says The Eagle Plans The Fight Versus Tony Ferguson And Retirement!

Khabib’s Uncle Stated His Nephew Also Turned Down Conor McGregor Rematch Despite $15 Million Offer!

Khabib Nurmagomedov shocks the public every day. According to his uncle, Alex Nurmagomedov, he wants to face Tony Ferguson and retire from fighting after that match! Alex Nurmagomedov spoke for Russian website Sport Express. He claims his nephew is not interested in Conor McGregor rematch by any means. The Eagle declined $15 million offer! (via MMAJunkie.com)

“From the start, they offered him 15 million if he agrees,” Alex Nurmagomedov told Sport Express (via Google Translate). “But Khabib said no. Let Conor stand in line, let him fight with others. Khabib wants to fight Ferguson, and then finish his career.”

Khabib defeated Conor McGregor via fourth-round submission. He was very dominant throughout the match and even won the second round with the score of 10-8. Yet, the months of mental abuse escalated at the end of the match when he attacked Dillon Danis. Khabib’s teammate Zubaira Tukhugov sucker punched The Notorious.

The Eagle had a heated altercation with Artem Lobov, Conor’s teammate, prior to UFC 223. Conor McGregor was furious and threw a metal dolly into the bus with UFC fighters the next day. Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg had to withdraw from the match due to lacerations. In the end, Khabib fought Al Iaquinta for UFC Lightweight title and won via unanimous decision.

But UFC had a very light set of penalties for Conor and Artem. While Artem Lobov was removed off UFC 223 fight card, Conor got no penalty at all! Dana White was hiding behind the law institutions. In the end, Conor’s law team reached a plea deal and he evaded prison.

Unfortunately, Zubaira Tukhugov wasn’t that lucky. He was scratched off the bout versus Artem Lobov at UFC Fight Night 138 on October 27, 2018. And it looks like UFC doesn’t want to let him fight in the future! Khabib simply can’t get through this. He even threatened to break his UFC contract if Tukhugov can’t keep his job.

The popular rapper 50 Cent saw his chance and invited Khabib to sign for Bellator MMA. He offered an amazing sum of $2 million. Khabib also challenged Floyd Mayweather Jr for a boxing match. Of course, Money accepted for the “fair” amount of money.

Khabib’s uncle believes many other fighters will follow his nephew’s steps if he decides to leave UFC. But, Dagestani superstar wants one more showdown. He targets Tony Ferguson. Khabib’s uncle says his nephew won’t accept the fight for less than $5 million!

“We planned (a Ferguson fight), but it can pass only if Khabib remains in the UFC,” Alex Nurmagomedov told Sport Express. “Many organizations with large prize funds offered him to sign a contract: Bellator, Akhmat, Fight Night. If Khabib remains in the UFC, then in April or May there will be a battle with Ferguson.”

“For $2 million (from Bellator), Khabib will not fight. Now he is ready to go into battle for no less than $5 million. In Bellator, we were told to name our amount and they are ready to sign a contract. If Khabib leaves UFC, another eight people can leave with him. I cannot list them all, but they are powerful, good fighters. I will not yet call their names. The UFC asked Khabib not to hurry, because they have not yet made a final decision.”

There is a good reason why The Eagle wants Tony Ferguson. Their fight was delayed four times! The first time, they should face on December 11, 2015, on The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale. Nurmagomedov pulled out citing injury. The match was rescheduled for UFC on Fox 19, on April 16, 2016, but Ferguson retired due to lung issues. Then Khabib got ill due to difficult weight cut. Their UFC 209 match, which was set for March 4, 2017, didn’t happen. The two should also fight at UFC 223 on April 7, 2018, but Ferguson tore his ligament.

What do you think, what happens next? Do you believe Alex Nurmagomedov hides something? What kind of a man denies $ 15 million offer? Do you think Tony Ferguson is the only man who can put Khabib to sleep?
