I’m digging these live TUF fights, I must admit. The live broadcasts give the fights a greater sense of purpose in my opinion. Tonight was a good example of of a meaningful fight that I want to watch live with one of the most hyped TUF fights in recent memory. Old Chute Box trainer Cristiano Marcello and up and coming Black House protege Justin Lawrence were to meet in the first round of TUF: Faber/Cruz. First off, props to Cristiano Marcello, he’s made a hell of an imprint on the sport, but if a new ninja is being incubated over at Black House I am effing on board, OK? Look at him in the banner pic, he looks like the most dangerous Michael Cera impersonator in the world. Don’t kick my head off for saying that Justin Lawrence, I always pick Black House as my gym in UFC Undisputed 3.
Justin Lawrence came into tonight’s fight as the 2-1 favorite and proved why he’s such a tough guy by creating a fist and then placing it on Cristiano Marcello’s chin halfway through the second.
