Jose Aldo Stops Renato Moicano In The Second Round!
UFC Fight Night 144 is happening live tonight (Saturday, February 2, 2019) inside Northeast Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil.
The co-main event of the evening brings the Featherweight match between the former UFC and WEC 145-pound king Jose Aldo and the former interim Jungle Fight champion Renato Moicano. Jerin Valel is the referee. Let’s start!
Round 1
Moicano opens up with a jab, and tries a front kick early on. Spin kick from Moicano comes up just short. Aldo misses right hook, and Moicano lands a left hand. Great counter straight left and a superb leg kick by Jose Aldo.
Aldo continues to strike. Now Moicano with an inside low kick, and Jose continues to miss. Head kick Renato Moicano. Aldo misses with a kick again, Moicano tries to counter but no success.
Jose Aldo goes for a body shot. Now jab from Renato Moicano, and both fighters landing strikes. Jabs and excellent inside low kick Moicano. Two more jabs from Jose Aldo, but Moicano doesn’t buy it. I’d say 10-9 Moicano but the round was pretty much even.
