The trilogy is on!

ONE Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson defends his title against Brazilian rival Adriano Moraes in the main event of ONE Fight 10. The event takes place in Denver, Colorado as it is ONE Championship’s U.S. debut.

Round 1:

Both fighters take their time finding their distance. Johnson lands a good leg kick. Moraes fires a right hand that find its target. Johnson and Moraes trade kicks up the body and to the legs. They clinch against the cage. Moraes lands knees from within the clinch. Johnson denies a judo trip attempt from Moraes. They trade knees in the clinch before they are separated for inactivity.

Johnson lands a kick to the leg and then to the body. Round ends.

Round 2:

Johnson puts on a rapid pace and targets the legs of Moraes with kicks. Johnson rushes in but doesn’t land his punches. Moraes clips Johnson with a crisp left hand. Moraes goes for an inside trip on Johnson but doesn’t secure it. Moraes enters the clinch, pushing ‘Mighty Mouse’ against the cage. They separate for a bit before Moraes clinches up once more.

Johnson lands some knees to the body while inside the clinch. Johnson grabs a takedown on Moraes with less than a minute to go in the round. Moraes works his way back up to his feet. Moraes separates and lands a body shot. Round ends.

Round 3:

Moraes catches a kick from Johnson and they clinch up. They separate but Moraes doesn’t waste much time before initiating the clinch once again. Moraes and Johnson exchange hard elbows to the head. They break. Moraes lands a cross on Johnson. They fight for position near the ground. The referee restarts the action on the feet.

Johnson lands body kicks while Moraes presses Johnson in the clinch. Johnson reverses position in the clinch, pressing the Brazilian against the chain links. Moraes shoots for a single leg takedown but Johnson stuffs it well. Johnson fires a knee to the body before the round ends.

Round 4:

Johnson lands a sharp kick to the body. Johnson lands shoulder strikes with Moraes clinching him one more time. The referee separates them. Johnson and Moraes enters the clinch multiple times with Johnson landing a flying knee close to the chin of Moraes. Johnson hits the ribs of Moraes with knees. Johnson lands effective combos on Moraes. 

Johnson unloads knee after knee as Moraes continues to hold him in the clinch. 

Round 5:

Johnson lands a fiery 1-2 to start the round. Johnson enters the clinch with Moraes after a caught knee. Johnson and Moraes enter the clinch once again and Johnson tries for a takedown, but Moraes stuffs it. Moraes lands a crisp combo after exiting the clinch. Moraes fires a few uppercuts. Johnson throws jumping knees as Moraes initiates the clinch. Johnson presses Moraes against the cage and attempts a takedown but is stopped by Moraes. They are forced to separate. 

Official result: Demetrious Johnson defeats Adriano Moraes by unanimous decision
