Dateline the Hobby Lobby or Michael’s craft stores both Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Jessica Penne have been training at for the last eight to ten weeks. UFC Berlin has brought out the unabashed hate that exists between the two best strawweights the world has to offer.
The UFC Berlin weigh-ins began normal enough until the main event fighters hit the stage. Jedrzejczyk started by blowing multiple kisses in the general direction of Penne. The 32 year old Penne didn’t want any kisses. Then during the post weigh-in faceoff the champ called for and opened a sealed envelope. What was inside it? Money? A Hallmark card? The meaning of life scribbled in hot pink crayon?
Awww Jedrzejczyk made Penne a necklace. Wait, that necklace is homemade and its ingredients are 100% penne pasta. Kind of a cheap gift but thoughtful. Does that necklace say “Penne” on it? Well Penne is just going to throw that shit away. It’s ok because Jedrzejczyk has a second necklace with her to give to Penne. Does that necklace say “And Still”? Burn!
A truly awesomely asshole-ish move by Jedrzejczyk.
Now its Penne turn to express her feelings through arts and crafts. Where was Penne hiding and holding her ring she tried to give Jedrzejczyk? What does that even mean? Jedrzejczyk and Penne are not going to join the same biweekly crafts club or hug after UFC Berlin tomorrow.
