James Vick will be crossing over into yet another combat sport.

The UFC veteran retired from MMA back in 2021, after a string of five losses to the likes of Justin Gaethje, Paul Felder, Dan Hooker and others. However, Vick didn’t say anything about retiring from the fight game altogether.

Shortly after hanging up the MMA gloves, Vick would step into the boxing ring. He’d pick up two straight KO wins in 2022 before falling short in a majority decision loss  in September. Fast forward a few weeks and he’s already booked his return, not in the ring, but in ‘The Pit’.

Vick To Karate Combat

On Wednesday, Vick would announce that he has signed with Karate Combat.

“See y’all October 29th! @karatecombat #karate #anewbeginning.”

‘The Texecutioner’ is set to make his promotional debut against Jorge Perez on Oct. 29. The bout will go down at welterweight and will be featured on the Karate Combat 36 main card.

James Vick’s karate crossover will be streamed live on Karate.com at 7:00pm ET.
