Jake Ellenberger says Rory MacDonald was created by the media

If I knew the media had the power to manifest things that weren’t really there, I would have a delicious iced coffee brought forth from the ether in front of me right now with a secure lid on top. That’s the thing people don’t really think about when conjuring items: the splash. Liquid is unpredictable, all illusionists know this, and I’m not going to make that mistake. When materializing items, I shall think about those angles, because the last thing I need right now is another spill on this keyboard. She’s on her last legs, you see.

So Jake Ellenberger says the media created Rory MacDonald, which would make the media some sort of twisted fashionistas with social anxiety and a proclivity for wanting fighters to get injured in training. Yeah. That sounds about right. But the point Jake is making stands: as good as Rory has looked doing it, his biggest wins are over two lightweights and Che Mills. Hmmm.

Thanks to Rick Lee for the clip.
